Shawls

Pashmina refers to a type of fine cashmere wool and the textiles made from it. The name comes from Pashmineh, made from Persian pashm ("wool"). The wool comes from changthangi or pashmina goat, which is a special breed of goat indigenous to high altitudes of the himalayas in Nepal, Pakistan and northern India. Pashmina shawls are hand spun, woven and embroidered in Kashmir, and made from fine cashmere fibre.

Pashmina, the extremely light wool sheared from the belly of a Himalayan mountain goat, has been relegated as a luxury fabric of yesterday.

Jamavar shawls have very soft, trendy and warm feeling as because of woolen materials.Pure Pashmina shawls are made up after the long process of dyeing, sewing and softening. These shawls and pashminas originated from the South Asian culture. Countries included in the background of making pashmina shawls are India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka & Bangladesh. Colors of these shawls make them attractive between other fashion accessories.

One of these fashion accessories is shawl or pashmina. Shawls, word originated from the Arabic whereas pashmina comes from Persian word “pashm” that means “wool”. Shawls and pashminas are beautiful to see and also give warm effects to your body I winter.
